Sharing the passion

Art has always been an integral part of Vyvyan’s life, a constant thread woven through the years. His journey began in 1968, when he pursued a formal education in graphic design at Ravensbourne College of Art & Design in Bromley, Kent.

After honing his craft and gaining experience in London, Vyvyan founded his own independent graphic design consultancy in Cardiff where he successfully undertook exclusive high profile brand identity projects in the UK, Hong Kong and Portugal. 

For many years, running a highly demanding design business, this commitment left little time to nurture his true passion for painting. However, the desire to return to the canvas never faded. In 2015, Vyvyan made the pivotal decision to return to West Wales, drawn back by a longing for his roots and breathtaking landscapes that had always inspired him. Since then, he has exhibited his work at various galleries across Wales and London – sharing his renewed creative vision with a wider audience. 

Surrounded once more by the beauty of his West Wales landscape, Vyvyan rediscovered his passion for painting. Today, he channels that inspiration into creating evocative landscapes that resonates with its timeless appeal.
